Dad

Today is Fathers Day in the USA. This is my first one as a father, and I am very happy to be so blessed. Fathers teach you lots of great stuff, like how to build a proper camp fire, sharpen your pocket knife, make a bow and arrow, drive a car, fish for bass with a topwater plug, and most importantly, how to behave as a man. Throughout my much younger years, Dad was constantly telling me something, and it sticks with me to this day. Every time I would head out for a date, or go on a school trip, or leave home after a holiday visit, Dad would say "Remember who you are." I remembered every time a tough decision came up, and made sure to try to act accordingly (with the exception of a couple of years, we'll call that 'college'.)

My Dad has taught me some things, but how to be a Dad has been the basic message of them all.

Happy Fathers Day Dad -

Love,

Travis
